14 Karat Gold Sunflower Pendant

Young sunflowers actually follow the sun — the stem grows unevenly through the day and swings the head from east to west, then back again overnight. It is where the flower gets its reputation for devotion, and why it has been used as a symbol of loyalty for a very long time.

This one is a small round pendant in 14 karat yellow gold, with the petals and seeded center worked in relief so the flower reads clearly at a glance rather than dissolving into a disc.

At just under 10mm it is deliberately understated — a piece that sits close at the collarbone and rewards someone noticing it, rather than announcing itself across a room.
